Welsh Mountain Cider is made by us, Bill Bleasdale and Chava Richman at our smallholding near Llanidloes in the hills of Mid-Wales. Our experience in the blending of apples and pears to create fine cider, perry and juice gives us the knowledge to help you plant the perfect orchard to suit your needs.
Would you prefer to plant an orchard of dessert and cooking fruit or maybe just a tree or two? We also stock an extensive range of heritage and modern varieties that can keep you in apples and pears throughout the year.
Visitors are welcome by appointment only. Please come view our trees for sale and tour the orchard.

Welsh Mountain Cider
Welsh Mountain Cider is made deep in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains at over 1000 feet above sea level. The finest fresh juicy apples are pressed in traditional Welsh Oak presses and are left to ferment with their own indigenous natural yeasts. This juice is matured for up to 18 months in oak casks, producing a unique cider with an uncommonly rich depth of flavour. All our cider is live and sulphite free.
Last Chance to Order Bare Root Apple Trees
Spring is here, but because of our high altitude (and the cool weather) bare root apple trees are still available for this season if you place your order very soon.
We have sold out of two year old trees, but we still have an excellent selection of one year maidens available.
You are very welcome to come and pick up your trees from Prospect Orchard by arrangement, or we can post or courier trees across the U.K. and Europe for very reasonable rates. We will be doing out final posting on Monday May 13th.
