Dry Longhill 2022 75 cl. 6.4% abv

Made from the fruit of apples we propagated 15 years ago for our friends on Longhill, now the fruit of our combined labours has come back Prospect. The orchard is a mix of mild bittersweets, cookers and dessert fruit, and at similar altitude to Prospect Orchard, but on the other side of the valley.

This is a dryer version of the Sweet Longhill that we released last year.

A beautiful deep orange, marmalade colour, off dry cider. On the nose there are notes of almond, fruitcake and baked apples. Big, mouth filling tannins followed by notes of sweet cherry. A big, intense cider that reflects the wild orchard and the fruit foraged from the undergrowth of thistles and nettles.

Wilderness 2022 75 cl. 7.1% abv

A single orchard blend from a mature Shropshire orchard, owned by James at Wilderness Brewery.

A late pressed cider, surprisingly bringing to mind Spring and fresh, green growth.

Hazy apricot colour. Still and dry. On the nose summer meadows. Light tannins with balanced acidity. Apricots and stone fruit, fresh Spring grass.

Prospect 2020, 75 cl. 7.3% ablc

A naturally sparkling dry cider made from over 300 varieties of apple grown, pressed and bottled at Prospect Orchard. This Petillant Naturel cider was pressed in 2020, wild fermented and bottled before the end of fermentation, leaving the residual sugar to finish fermenting in the bottle resulting in a light carbonation. Tannic with steely minerality.

Borders Bittersweet 2020, 75 cl, 6.0% abv

This cider is made from apples picked from a mature standard orchard on the Wales Shropshire border. Grazed by sheep but otherwise left to grow wild, this orchard contains many varieties traditionally grown in this area including Hereford Redstreak, Bloody Butcher, Morgan sweet and Brown Snout.

These fine old bittersweet varieties combine to make a very complex cider rich and deep in flavour.

Pineapple acidity is balanced by the earthy flavours of orchard floor and summer stone fruits, finishing with bitter almonds, tannins and toffee.

Ping Pong Pet Nat, 75 cl. 6.9% abv

All of our ciders used to be aged in a barn under a Ping Pong room, so this bouncy title seemed appropriate. Ping Pong Pet Nat is a single variety Cox's Orange Pippin cider, bottled Pet Nat. It is aged on the lees for fuller flavour, so either pour carefully for a clear cider, or shake to wake.

Brown's/Redstreak, 75 cl. 5.9% abv

A 60/40 blend of Brown’s Apple and Somerset Redstreak. The zingy acidity of Brown’s apple is balanced by the soft tannins of Somerset Redstreak. A bright, crisp cider with notes of green apples, cut hay and touches of almond and vanilla. Pressed in 2020 and bottled early to retain a natural carbonation.
